Why this can work

Designed around operator control, not instant-ticket fantasy.

01

Operator posts the leg

Route, date window, aircraft, minimum price, seats, luggage, and dispatch contact stay under operator control.

02

Traveler sends intent

The platform captures the group, target price, and payment readiness without selling seats to strangers.

03

Confirmation happens cleanly

Part 135 operator or compliant broker flow confirms aircraft, contract, payment, and operational control.

Service expansion

More than leisure charter.

These categories are marketplace workflows. Actual medical, medevac, cargo, and rescue capability must be confirmed with the operator, aircraft configuration, crew, insurance, and applicable state or medical transport requirements.

Core marketplace

Empty-leg charter

Discounted repositioning flights for small groups, booked as whole-aircraft charter.

Verify equipment

Medical transport

Non-emergency patient transfer candidates, requiring operator aircraft configuration review.

High priority

Air ambulance / medevac

Rotorcraft and fixed-wing operators that may support urgent medical missions after credential checks.

Time critical

Organ, lab, urgent cargo

Time-sensitive cargo, samples, blood products, and transplant logistics where speed matters.

Response network

Evacuation and disaster response

Regional aircraft and helicopters suitable for remote access, wildfire, storm, or relief coordination.

FAA operator base

Part 135 operators with regional, medical, and rescue-capable aircraft.

Traveler request

Ask for a quote or counter-offer.

Deposit is refundable if no materially matching operator option is available or the accepted operator cannot perform. It may become non-refundable after substantial coordination work if the traveler cancels, materially changes the request, or declines a matching confirmed option.

Operator onboarding

List empty legs without changing dispatch.

Membership gives access to supplier onboarding and marketplace tools. It does not guarantee bookings, revenue, or listing priority. Cancel future renewals before the next billing period.

Operator empty-leg post

Manual mission and empty-leg entry for the MVP.

Traveler checkout can collect an 8% platform booking fee, capped between $500 and $2,000. Any customer-facing offer still requires operator confirmation before final charter.

Payment rules

What each payment means.

Air Mission Exchange is a marketplace and coordination platform, not the direct air carrier or aircraft operator. Final aircraft, operator, price, schedule, cancellation terms, and required disclosures must be confirmed in writing before a charter is final.

1

Priority deposit

$500 paid by the traveler to prioritize sourcing and operator outreach. If the trip books, it is credited toward the final order. It is refunded if no materially matching option is available or the operator cannot perform.

2

Empty-leg booking fee

8% of the quoted whole-aircraft price, minimum $500 and maximum $2,000. Credited toward the accepted booking or refunded if the operator cannot perform.

3

Supplier membership

$299/month for operator onboarding, directory tools, lead review, and empty-leg publishing workflow. It does not guarantee bookings and renews until cancelled.
